I'll be home for Christmas
Last nite more than 15 sons of Adam and 2 daughters of Eve came to our place and more than 10 sons of Adam stayed for the nite or shall I say some thru the nite till morn B4 going to church. They gobbled up the remaining Christmas dinner ham for breakfast!
Da church service was wonderful; nostalgic carols, beautiful dance by Grace & company, very humorous and talented skit by da TMs and a message of God?s love for us by Pastor Dave. Some parents assured me dat da behaviors of da actors are quite different in real life as compared to reel life. Den got to talk to 2 daughters of Eve, one from overseas.
Since I am talking Narnia language I shall share some rambling thots. Da ST today was rather somber in the Lifestyle section, One life to live; 3 with cancer and 1 cerebral palsy sufferer. A good reminder dat there?s more to life than our present pain and suffering. Rick Warren put it this way, ?All of life is a rehearsal for heaven?. I couldn?t agree more. The real thing is in heaven, earth is the reel thing!
Now the Narnia part. Whilst da animals? ability to talk was rather humorous I actually believe it is possible, (emphasize-only my theory) dat b4 Adam sinned dee animals were actually able to talk like humans. 3 reasons; God brought each animal to Adam to be named,(communication needed), Adam and Eve were not surprised at all by da serpent talking and when Jesus return, we are told all creatures on earth, under da earth and above da earth shall sing His praises. Also dee lamb shall lie with da lion and da viper harmless. Sin changed everything including animal behavior. Da earth is groaning with earthquakes etc. However the blood of Jesus made peace with God and reconciled all ?things?; correcting/restoring what sin distorted. May u find peace this Christmas.
