Wet afternoon at Seletar
How do ya distinguish between a social and experienced golfer? Well it was pouring cats and dogs during the 1st 9 and my flight mates had umbrella and raincoats. I had none and was soaked to the skins literally. The 2nd 9 was great, slight drizzle and cool. As usual played poorly save for 2 highlights. Was rather pleased that I didn?t lose any balls till the horrible index 1 6th hole where I lost 3 balls! All into dee water. Had the only chai tau kway with bean sprouts that u can find in Singapore at the half way house. Verdict: ok lah. Den the highlight of dee afternoon at the 15th and 18th holes. My 1st shot at the 15th 134m par 3 landed on dee rite bunker; out onto the left rough and lo and behold an incredible chip curving downhill into the hole to make par! The 2nd highlight was on the difficult 18th. Made a 12 foot uphill putt. Even the pros were impressed. Ha ha
