Was hosted by 2 Japs at e restaurent. E chef Nogawa san is holding a salt crystal which he said was taken from the Himalayan mountains and is 50 million years old. The first pic shows it in powder form for consumption. He also gave me a small crystal portion which he called "diamond" haha. Oh was told dat salt is used for cleansing in Jap culture and e sumo wrestlers throw them on ground to purify it before each bout.

Food which our Jap host told e chef to make it for Singaporean, kinda fusion (1st course mashed potato n salmon roe) was excellent and I thnk e price also reflects it..haha
